This is a great thing, because when you get that sudden summer hankering for BBQ, just bring your own beer, order a bunch of dishes (the sides are excellent), a heap of ribs, and that pulled pork as well. You might actually think you are somewhere else in America, augmented of course by the honky-tonk atmosphere of Midtown's Eleventh Avenue. Though we haven't yet gathered the group for the massive half pig or whole pork shoulder, rest assured Daisy May's laid-back dining room seems to be the best place in New York City to tear into epic-sized portions of swine thanks to BBQ genius Adam Perry Lang. In contrast, should you prefer table service then perhaps Del Posto is your place for the supersized meat dishes.
