The Harlem Yacht Club is located on City Island, a nautical community within the boundaries of New York City which is renowned for its maritime history. Many America's Cup yachts were built on this tiny island. Situated on the western end of Long Island Sound, in the most protected part of Eastchester Bay, the HYC offers access to the best cruising in the region with hundreds of harbors and anchorages located on nearby shores. Founded in the nineteenth century, the HYC is one of the country's oldest yacht clubs.
