So named for the two golden statues of Puck that stand at both entrances to the building, which was the former headquarters of the satirical magazine of the same name, which itself was named for the mischievous character from Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream, which was, in turn, named after the mythological pagan fairy. In any case, the building itself is a marvelous thing to behold, even if you've walked a long way to see it and are—ahem—all puckered out.
